Khewra Salt Mines , Punjab, Pakistan, about 160 kilometers from Islamabad and 260 kilometers from Lahore. It attracts up to 40,000 visitors per year and is the second largest salt mine in the world. Situated at the foothills of the Salt Range, Khewra Salt Mines are the oldest in the salt mining history of the sub-continent.
Banjosa is Situated 20 kilometers from Rawalakot, at an altitude of 1981 meters. Its scenic beauty and impressive surrounding is compelling and attracts tourists to reach here to enjoy the nature for a possible comeback. Amidst the captivating beauty of Banjosa the artificial lake reflects the dense forest standing along the surrounding of the resting calm waters of Banjosa lake.
Ziarat
It is situated 133 kms (3 hours by car) from Quetta in the province of Baluchistan at an altitude of 2449m (8200 feet) above the sea level. Ziarat is a holiday resort in the Sibi district amidst one of the largest and oldest juniper forests in the world. It is said that some of the juniper trees are as old as 5,000 years. Ziarat is also known as the Juniper Valley.
Ranikot Fort. Located about 30 km southwest of Sann, in the Kirthar Range, approximately 120 kms from Hyderabad Toll Plaza and 262 kms form Karachi. It is one of the largest forts in the world.
Gorakh Hill is one of such places which people of Sindh are proud to have! with elevation of approx 6000ft and approx 90km away from Dadu. The Gorakh Hill is still under development and you'll not find any hotels or such facilities atleast not anywhere near 40-50 km, except small villages. It is the 2nd highest peak of Kirthar mountain range in Sindh!
Mahudand Lake
About 20kms (13 miles) from Kalam, in the upper Ushu Valley, is one of the best places for fishing. It is a day trip from Kalam, I would suggest you should stay one night. Do visit Lake Saifullah and Lake Naseerullah just 2 Kms from Mahodand Lake.
